Belladonna's MySpace success has been unexpected and lightning-fast: with over 1.000.000 plays of their songs they have now become one of the world's most popular unsigned bands on MySpace.

Their acclaimed debut CD "Metaphysical Attraction" has gained them rave reviews from all over the world and has given Belladonna true cult status. Its songs have been added to the playlists of over 200 radios worldwide, magazines like Rolling Stone, Glamour, GQ and NME have hailed Belladonna as the "next big thing", and even Wikipedia has devoted a page to the bandand to Rock Noir, the musical genre that they have single-handedly originated.

Two songs out of their debut CD, “Black Swan” and “Foreverland”, have even received the incredible honor (unprecedented for an unsigned band!) of being included in the Grammy Awards 2008 Ballot, in the categories Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals and Best Rock Song.

Their "Mystical Elysian Love" video, a noir, sensual and erotic affair shot entirely in East Berlin, has entered the Worldwide Top 100 YouTube Most Viewed music videos on the very day it was uploaded. The sultry, sensual, sexual appeal of Belladonna has gained them a main attraction slot at Erotica 07 in London (where the band performed in front of over 100.000 people) and special guest appereances with bands like Scars On Broadway, Siouxsie and the Banshees, 69 Eyes.

The band has recently been personally invited by legendary producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a Down, Johnny Cash and many others) to her incredible studio in California, where they've recorded various brand new Belladonna noir songs for their much awaited second full-length CD.
